Today I found my self thinking of one of my favorite people in the whole world, who I miss so much!
My grandma and I were so close and I love that I had that with her she was so crazy and so sweet and funny I just loved all her crazy corks! I wish that my daughter would have had the opertunity to get to know her and have a relationship with her, she was always a great listener and most of the time she knew just what to say and I will always hold her close to my heart. I LOVE YOU GRANNY!!!!

Today as Echo and her friends were dancing and singing in the livingroom it took me back to my childhood when I was their age and I could not help but laugh. When I was a pre-teen my cousin Sarah and I would mack up crazy dances and we would have dance contest and we would have so much fun being silly, so as I watch these girls do the same thing and my house is filled with girls being silly and having fun dancing, I am so glad that they I get to experiance it again in my life. Every time a song comes on that has bad words in it they all scream and change the song it is so funny, they make me laugh so hard...

Megan, Shariya and Echo

Echo has this sweet friend named Megan, she is so kind and sweet I just love her.
Last year in June Megan lost her mom she passed in her sleep and Megan don’t say much about her she just deals with it in her own way. We have gotten to be very close with her and she spends lots of weekends here and we just love having her..
Today Echo’s school choir was singing in the Arbor day festival they sang 2 songs and then the 3rd was a mother’s day song and Echo’s friend Megan is in the choir and I looked over at her and she had this sad look on her face and I started to cry and couldn’t even imagine how she must be feeling, they gave each kid a flower to give to their mothers and Megan was so sad she didn’t have a mom to give hers to so she came over to me when it was over and she gave me her flower and I hugged her and told her I loved her and that she did a great job and I started to bawl and I could not stop crying she melted my heart right then. Every time Megan sleeps over she always wants to be tucked in like echo and she loves to just sit and talk with me she even asks on a weekly base if we will adopt her and we tell her that her dad would miss her so much it would make him so sad and she laughs it off. I just wanted to share this experience I had with her today cause she touch my heart and I feel honored to be a substitute mom for her.

Tonight one of my daughters friends came over and was visiting with Echo and I and as we were talking I was giving her a hard time for never coming over and visiting with us and she quit spending the nights on weekends, so I was giving her a hard time about it. She for some reason has no problem telling me things she just cant tell her mom, so she was telling me about her sleepover with another one of her friends and she was telling me about this movie they were watching and I was so shocked and disgusted with what she was telling me I freaked out and said were you watching a porno and she said yea I think that is what it is so she was telling me more about the movie and from what she was saying it was a porno. I asked did her mom know that you guys were watching it and she says YES and I wanted to cry for those little girls who are only 11. So asked her if her friend has had sex and she said yes and I asked about another girl that she hangs out with if she had, had sex and she said yes so I then asked her if she had had sex and she says HECK NO I AM WAITING TILL I AM MARRIED, so after this conversation with her I told her Echo will never have a sleepover anywhere but here cause that is not OK and those parents should be shot. So I told Echo we had to talk after we took her friend home so I told her we had to have the sex talk if she liked it or not cause I am so scared for these kids at this point in their lives it is so scary and it makes me kind of sick to my stomach, so Echo and I had the sex talk tonight and she was just horrified about it.. It makes me so sad that kids cant be kids they have to grow up and at the old age of 11 start having sex it makes me want to cry and I just want to love all of them so they don’t feel they have to do that.

I have just been called to be a Young Women adviser. I am so so excited to have this opportunity to learn and grow from these young women. I am teaching the Beehives, I think I have been called to teach them so I can learn how to care for my own, cause in less then a year my sweet Echo will be a Young women and she is so excited as I am to. I am excited to help her finish her faith in god for girls so she is ready to come to young women and Echo and I have decided to read the BOOK OF MORMON together it will be a wonderful experience for the two of us. I hope as I learn and grow from my new calling that I will become a great leader and teacher to all the wonderful girls I am going to get to know and to my Echo pie.

We had a lesson in relief society the other week and it really has got me thinking about my family and how hard we need to work on being a family. They were talking about how we should love one another and serve one another and not judge one another, and it got me thinking about what I can do to become a better person and learn to serve more and try to love one another. They say charity is the perfect love of Chris, by having that and serving we are closer to being more Christ like. Here is my favorite Quote by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, he is a wonderful speaker. I wish and hope for someday all my brothers and sisters will get along and we can all become close and loving instead of so far apart, I love my family and I want to have one of those families that Where they are always doing something together and having a great time doing it.
My new goal is to learn to serve more and love my family and to have Charity so I can become more Christ like.

Our Big Move

Well we have moved back to Wyoming and it went very smooth except for me being sick. It took us a day and a half to load our moving truck and thanks to my cousins husband Chris who I am so thankful for cause I didn't have to load any thing from the storage unit thank goodness and I'm so glad that Nikki let us have him for a few hours. We got up here to Wyoming on NEW YEARS DAY YUCK nothing like moving on the coldest day ever. Right as I was pulling into green river I called the 2nd counsler in the bishopric to see if we could get some help cause I was sick and we had a huge truck to unload and he said he couldn't promise anything on such short notice so we got started and no one showed up so I started to pray cause we really need some help and about 45min after we got there 6 ELDERS from the ward showed up to help us I almost cried I was so excited to see them and we had the truck unloaded in about and hour it was amazing and I thank the lord so much that day. We are getting settled in and every thing is coming together and I have some new friends and I'm going to start a ZUMBA class here with one of my friends I am so thankful to be here it is nice to be back other then missing my family and friends in SLC but I still get to SKYPE with them and I love doing that it makes it nice.....

I have been thinking a lot about service lately.. SERVICE: is the action form of love. The command to "love one another" could have easily been worded "If you love one another then serve one another... I was thinking that all the little things we do to help people and they can be as easy a just a quick smile and a how are you doing affects more people then we know. I was out and about today getting some things done, and I stopped at the pet store to get some dog food and the lady that was in front of me had a huge bag of dog food and I checked out and there she was struggling trying to put this bag of dog food in her car and her mother was watching her and she could not help so I walked over there and asked if I could lend a hand so together we put the HUGE bag of food in her car and the women was so happy that someone had stopped to help her and that really got me thinking about the little things we do and how it can change someones day or life. So I have decided that we as a family are going to try to do more service projects it will be great. if we all remember the little things that is what makes a huge difference in life so try to give a stranger a smile and that could change your life :)

Alex and I went on a date to Temple Square we took the trax down there cause I have always wanted to take it from beginning to end so we did. So on are way down town the are building lots of stuff and Alex was begging me to take some pictures of the crans.

Alex on the trax train we has so much fun it is nice to just do some thing with your husband I really enjoy him he is so great and we don't get to see him but on the weekend so this was a treat for me.

We just love Temple Square and the feeling you have when you are there.

Echo's 9th Birthday

Echo was so excited for her 9th Birthday. We took her and some of her friends to Classic skating and they all had a blast and some of her cousins came to. Grandpa Ren and Grandma Cathy came for her Birthday to she had not seen them in about a year she was way excited to see them she really missed them and well so did I.

Echo opening her gifts from her friends she was not very happy and didnt really care cause she was hurt and she just wanted to go home.

Echo had fallen and really hurt her self after we dropped of her friends we ended up at the urgent care center cause she could not sit or walk very good we thought she broke her butt and hurt her wrist. It turned out she was fine and she had a spranged wrist so she got put in a splint she was sad.

Jeremy and NIcky it was there anniversery and they came out anyway it awesome of them they are awesome and fun to hang out with.

Cathy and Ren were down where it was warm and they came into town and we didnt tell Echo about it so when we pulled up to where they were staying Cathy was standing out side looking like a mexican and Echo yells stop mom is that grandma what the crap is she doing here. She was so excited she jumped out of the car and when and gave her a big love and then pappa came out and Echo took grandmas hat at put it on and it was just so funny and cute.

08 Was a Great Year

Well 2008 was a very busy year for us. We had such a great year and so many exciting things happen to our Family and we are so thankful to everyone who was a part of them. We also meet some really awesome people this year who we just love and we miss them all. Well here is just a few things that happened to our family this year. Alex and I was sealed in the temple and then our family was sealed for all time and eternity it was the best thing that has ever happened to our family it was great. Then Echo was baptised and she has strived to do good for our family and her friends she is kind and tries so hard not to hurt peoples feeling she is so sweet. I also meet up with my friend Michelle I have known her from the time I was 12 and we have become great friends and I'm so glad she is in our lives. We also meet some really great friends in bountiful we had some really good times with them we were always at the pool in the Summer time and we had lots of game nights and some times the girls would stay up till 1 to 2 in the morning it was great we love them all and miss them so much. I just want to tell every one THANK YOU FOR EVERY THING THIS PASSED YEAR WE LOVE YOU ALL.

I love Christmas it is my favorite time of the year so when it comes to decorating the tree i love to sit back and watch Alex and Echo decorating it together. It makes me happy to watch them fight over where each thing should go. So I have been worried about our tree and are dog cause are dog pees on every thing so I have been scared he is going to pee on my tree but so far so good no pee. Well we hope that every one has a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR . It has been one awesome year so we are hopping for an even better year next year.

Getting Ready For The BIG GAME

We decided to have a girls night before the big UTAH, BYU GAME to get ready for it so Friday morning the day before the game Echos school Was having a where your teams color so she did of course and she is just so cute. Well later that night we had a girls night at Michelles house with her little sister from the Big Brother Big Sister program and we had Maleena to we painted there nails red with a white U on them and painted there toes purple but they looked blue so they was having fun with it saying they liked both teams but we know they only like the UTES. Well I dont know if any one watched the GAME it wasa awesome and the UTES kick some butt it was awesome.

Pumkin Carving in Millcreek Canyon

Alex's brothers family every year go up to Millcreek Canyon every year to carve pumpkins and have dutch oven dinner. So we thought we would go up this year with them and we had a blast and the Canyon was so beautiful and the fall colors were every where it was awesome. There was lots of kids and they all carved there pumpkins and played so hard it was great and the dogs did to. We are so thankful that we had the chance to go and spend time with Alex's brother and his family. Thank you Jeremy and Nicky for having us we had a lot of fun with you all.

Alex loves to chop wood and just about every year no matter where we live we will go over to his parents house and chop wood for them. Wilson and his Cone

A few weeks ago Wilson cut his paw open and we took him to the vet and they had to put 2 stiches in his paw and put a cone on his head he is so funny he runs into every thing and and scratches every ones leg with the stupid thing but he is cute. with in a week he took his own stiches out from licking it cause we didn't watch him very close I guess so any way here is wilson with his cone on.

The First Week of School

So we made it through the first week of school. Echo had such a great week even thou they gave her home work. She is so funny and she is so excited that I'm on the PTA board cause she thinks I will be at the school all the time but I'm not. Today was Echos firat day of school. She was so excited last night that she didn't sleep very well and she was so tired but so excited today. Her teacher is really nice I think that she reminds me of a Grandma so that is what I told Echo and that made her happy. But her teacher told me that there classroom is the hottest classroom in the school so I felt really bad for Echo cause she get really hot easy.

We love Echo so much and just wish the best for her. she is a great kid and she knows what she wants. I LOVE YOU ECHO!!!!

Dying Hair Fun

Well Michelle had never dyed her hair before and we talked her into it so here is a pic of shell after we dyed her hair a darker brown than her normal it turned out really good

Then my friend Dana asked if I would dye her hair for her and I was happy to do so. So we decided to have fun with it and when I started are friend Wendy came over and she helped me so it didn't take all night we had fun with it.

Well we are excited for school to start Echo is so glad that she is going to be in the
3rd grade and im a little sad cause she is getting so big but that is life right.
This year I decided to join the P.T.A and Echo is way excited about that she is funny
im excited about it I might get out of the house more. We went school shopping and we
went to Park City to the outlet mall and it was such a bust I was so sad cause there was no
good deals it made me sad but what do you do. We had are friend Dana and her son Kayden

Echo and I went 4 wheeling with some friends. She was way excited for it and she had so much fun

Echo has always love to help. So every now and then I will let her help me cook or bake
she can make a pretty good cookie. But she helped me with dinner and we made
teriyaki chicken.

Today was way fun. My best friend Michelle took me to BUILD-A-BEAR and she let me make an elephant he is 16" long and 11 ounces he is so cute and his name is TOBY. when I took him up to get stuffed I had to put a heart in him and they made me rub the heart on my nose,ear,elbow,knee and then I had to kiss it and make a wish on it then I put it in the elephant and I gave him a hug for love and then they stuffed him and Echo helped me bath him it was cute. Then at the end when we went to pay for him they had the whole store say happy 21st birthday to me it was so awesome Michelle told them I was 21 it made me laugh so hard. We had so much fun doing it

Fun at the Gateway

Today was so much fun we went and hung out at the Gateway mall and we all played in the water. michelle and Destinie where being crazy and having fun. Alex just wanted to get his head wet to cool off. Echo had so much fun she loves the water it dont matter how it come.

Wilson Watching TV

Wilson is a freak show when it comes to watching TV. He would watch it for hours if I would let him. He is such a funny dog and he loves every one. I can tell him to go sit and watch TV and he will go sit right in front of the TV. He makes me laugh so hard.

Echo the Fish

We are having a great summer so for. We are at the pool alomst every day it is way awesome.

Echo is such a fish in and out she is always in the water. I'm really glad now that she has had swimming lession.
